The Community Disability Worker (CDW) is a critical front-line position where you will work alongside people with disabilities to encourage and fulfill their goals, objectives and aspirations. We hire enthusiastic people who are willing to:
• Develop healthy relationships and positive interactions.
• Help individuals with disabilities complete daily tasks, while encouraging independence and positive choices. You may be required to assist with personal care and medication administration.

The Community Disability Practitioner (CDP) is an experienced individual who provides direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will also participate in assessment, person-centered planning, and plan implementation. There may be some supervision/co-ordination of other staff. We hire enthusiastic people who are willing to:

• Help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to complete daily tasks, while encouraging independence and positive choices. You may assist with personal care and medication administration.
• Encourage individuals with more complex issues to pursue healthy living, fitness, recreational activities and positive behaviors.
• Assist individuals to achieve their full potential in employment, social, community, and residential environments.
• Provide professional and timely communication to families, parents, staff, government and supervisors.
• Informally mentor other staff in your areas of strength.
